He had three siblings, a sister, <a href=\"\/survivors\/cesia-szajnzicht\/\"><span class=\"s2\">Cesia Szajnzicht <\/span><\/a>and a brother, Edek. They came from a wealthy landowning family, their father owned a lumber yard.
